About Translitera

Hello! I’m Oksana Vuorinen – official translator and founder of Translitera language agency. Translitera’s purpose is to offer professional translations, and interpreting in Finnish, Ukrainian, Russian, and English, for individuals and businesses personally and confidentially.

Established in 2020 in Tampere, Translitera’s foundation is based on my extensive education and over 10 years of personal experience in translation, interpreting and language teaching in Finland, United States, and Ukraine.

Being a native Ukrainian, I studied languages in Ukraine as well as in Finland. In 2017 I graduated from the University of Tampere, Finland as a Master of Arts majoring in English and minoring in Russian.

My professional history includes over 10 years working as a teacher and an interpreter. In the recent years I have been more concentrated on interpreting and translation.  I have been working as an on-site and phone interpreter for different public authorities (hospitals, schools, migration office, police), courts of first instance as well as business negotiations and exhibitions.

In 2021 I acquired a status of an authorized Finnish–Russian translator required for the professional translation practice in Finland. You can read about my work and academic experience in greater detail in Finnish from my personal page.
